Jason  Kharman, PT, DPT, CEAS
co-founder/owner

Read more about Jason
Jason believes that integrity and hard work are critical to building customer loyalty. A visionary, he founded Corpus Concepts in late 2016 as a company for ergonomics.  The company has progressed to sports performance and therapy to have all care under one roof.  This allows for a personalized, higher-quality service for training, and therapy directly with their clients.

Prior to creating Corpus, Jason worked as a therapist at the prestigious Carrell Clinic here in Dallas, Texas. He was named director after two years and embraced the role. He then became the Vice President of Operations a few years later.

He decided that the next step was to form his own company as he saw the inefficiencies of a general Physical Therapy practice. He is a board certified Physical Therapist, licensed in Texas and Georgia. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from Texas Tech University, and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Jason endorses a holistic approach to medicine and incorporates nutrition and fitness into the lifestyle of his clients. He has had extensive clinical experience treating patients with spinal dysfunction, sports related injuries, and post surgical conditions. He has experience with professional and amateur athletes in the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, and NCAA around the country, often consulting with sports teams for direction.

Jason has also helped embrace tele-medicine for Physical Therapy by co-founding a DIY Therapy app (PHIX).  He also is on the board for a hydrogen based beverage company (H2BEV) in Plano, Texas.

When he isn’t tending to the needs of his clients or working on other ventures, Jason enjoys spending quality time training for Ironman Triathlons, hiking, and reading.

Director of fitness

read more about DREW
Drew specializes in group fitness with the ability to scale workouts for all different levels of athletes.  He is a CrossFit Level 1 instructor and also works with one on one clients and couples.  His sessions are distinguished by his constant encouragement and positive approach to physical training.  In 2017 he and his good friend Philip Carson created a program called “Kingdom Workouts” which he managed and coached until joining Corpus in January 2021.

Kingdom Workouts provided tailored daily workouts to individual clients as well as offering in person group training with other Kingdom members.  Drew’s clientele base ranges from middle/high school athletes to former college players and everything in between.  He also has worked as the Director of fitness at Casa Colina Treatment Center since 2017.  He crafts workouts that engage men of all different backgrounds and physical states in group fitness to compliment their journey to sobriety.  He is deeply grateful for the role he gets to play coaching these men and helping them with both their physical and mental health.

Drew has always loved fitness and being active, he played multiple sports throughout his life, but his passion evolved once he was introduced to CrossFit during his sophomore year at Texas A&M.  In 2012 he suffered a devastating back injury while training, which opened his eyes to the importance of proper training as well as physical therapy.  Since then he has been motivated to teaching others how to not just train hard, but to train well.  He spends hours researching proper form and technique for the movements he coaches people through.  He is especially grateful to be a part of a team with such knowledgeable staff that sees the value in the cohesion of physical training and therapy and is excited to continue his education in the craft of fitness and movement!

When not training, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kara. He is grateful for the opportunity to pursue his passion of fitness as his full time career and attributes it all to the goodness of God.
